The challenge
A financial services team spent a huge amount of time hunting for the right information across hundreds of procedures, contracts, and regulatory documents. The result: slow answers, occasional inconsistencies from one person to the next, and a real risk of error on sensitive topics.
The process
We built a conversational assistant that reads across all of this documentation and answers a plainly-worded question in plain language. Every answer is grounded in the client's real documents and cites its exact source — never made up. Before rollout, we tested it against hundreds of cases, including trick questions, to make sure it stays accurate, cautious, and dependable.
What we shipped
- An assistant that answers in plain language from internal documentation
- A cited source behind every answer, verifiable in one click
- A systematic reliability check before every update
- Safeguards against risky or off-topic answers
The impact
- Answers in seconds instead of lengthy searches
- Reliable, traceable information — essential in a regulated sector
- Fewer errors on sensitive topics
- Teams focused on their work rather than digging through documents
